As indicated in the bibliography of Buying Silence, I have put together a series of articles and other reading materials relating to the subject-matter of each chapter. I hope this will be of interest and assistance to those reading or researching the various issues discussed in the book. I have endeavoured to include a spread of views and the fact that something is included in this bibliography does not mean that it necessarily reflects my views or should be taken to be part of the book. Readers will, of course, exercise their own views as to the importance they attach to any particular materials. I would be very grateful if readers could draw my attention to any important omissions or let me know if their work is insufficiently or erroneously described or acknowledged and I will endeavour to correct it.
